'Sawali Care Centre' provides care centre services to admit a patient from their family safely, for necessary and homely care.
We know, we cannot cure the patient. But We will definitely make them forget that, they are patients.

The Reason

Nuclear Families, Cut Throat competition in every field of life, Stress - Anxiety in Jobs / Work places, Every family member is busy in his/her profession/education, No sufficient Manpower at Home These are the common problems in Middle class families now a days.

When our senior family members become Bed-ridden due to some chronic disease or accident, Sometimes for 2 months…. Sometimes for 6 to 8 months…… Sometimes FOREVER, you are in an aggravated difficult situation and very much worried.

To help such distressed families, which are huge in numbers, MEREED (India) has started a project namely ‘Sawali Care Centre’ which helps them to admit a patient from their family safely, for necessary and homely care.

We know, we cannot cure the patient. But We will definitely make them forget that, they are patients.



Type of patients that can be admitted

A patient who needs continuous assistance and care by Medical Attendants due to Physical/ Mental Disorders and Injuries due to Accidents or otherwise. Age – No Bar. Patients of any age that require care can be admitted.



Duration of admission and availing care services

Long Term : Few months, years or till terminal stage
Short Term : Few days / weeks or till the patient recovers
Day care : From Morning till Evening as per the requirement or necessity.



Salient Features

Homely care of Bed-ridden patients or Geriatric patients is taken. Patient who is dependent due to any cause can be admitted in the centre. All and every care related to their personal hygiene (bathing / sponging, toileting, washing clothes, etc.) is provided.

In addition to that, required Nursing care such as preventive care for Bed sores, Dressing, Bed sore management, Feeding meals, Feeding by Ryle’s tube, Catheterization, Physiotherapy Exercises, etc. is taken care as a regular and standard practice.

The centre maintains Patient : Staff ratio at 3 : 1.



Delicious Meals

Daily meals includes Morning Tea, Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea-Biscuits and Dinner.

Meals are served with duly previous consent of doctor. E.g. Diabetic food for diabetic patients, etc. Required changes are made in the meals as per the Ayurvedic/Homeopathic treatment, if any.

Ample variety is maintained in Breakfasts.

Moreover, personal likes and dislikes of a patient is also cared for, as well as the centre serves alternate when a patient does not like a certain recipe served.
